Do I need to go to a hospital for the Smart Lipo procedure?

Esther's vision has been to create a pleasing environment for medical aesthetic treatments "clinical yet comfortable". When you visit EF MediSpa for your consultation, you will be impressed with the relaxing setting designed for clients to feel at ease. In the UK, the Smart Lipo procedure can only be performed in premises that have been especially approved for the procedure by the Healthcare Commission. Our minor ops suite was purpose built for the Smart Lipo procedure and we are registered with the Healthcare Commission as an independent hospital. You will be able to have the procedure in the same convenient location as your consultation.

Is there much aftercare involved?

Aftercare 1. After the Smart Lipo procedure your personal physician will advise you on aftercare requirements. At EF MediSpa you will have a follow up consultation with your Smart Lipo physician two weeks after the procedure, which is sufficient for most clients. However, as your physician is resident at EF MediSpa you can see him as often as you feel necessary.

Aftercare 2. You will need to wear a compression garment immediately after the procedure. The length of time that the garment is worn will depend upon the area of the body that is treated. EF MediSpa takes care to provide garments that are specially designed for their comfort. Your first compression garment is supplied by us free of charge. If the surgeon prescribes aftercare medication, we will supply this free of charge.

Aftercare 3. In order to keep your body healthy after the Smart Lipo procedure, we also offer a complimentary electro-lymphatic drainage treatment. EF MediSpa is one of the few clinics in the UK that can offer Lustre, a revolutionary method developed by US scientists for clearing the lymphatic system, which will help to speed up the results of the Smart Lipo procedure.

Aftercare 4. Once you have the body shape that you want you will be looking to make sure that your skin is as smooth as possible. EF MediSpa has introduced Spa RF radio frequency technology as the most effective anti-cellulite treatment available today. Our Smart Lipo clients are offerred this treatment with our compliments before the procedure, and will receive a concessionary price if they wish to have further Spa RF treatments after the procedure.
