It’s not that I look for excuses but Silvia has told me to get my ass to her spinning class so I figure the only way I would be able to survive the intensity of the class was either by blood doping the autologous way, or avoiding the gym for another day… As I have a dislike for needles and can get squeamish around blood I opt for avoiding the gym.
Makes you wonder how I was able to under go the VASER Lipo procedure?
When I had the first injection, I focused on the ceiling… I know I know, pretty clever… After that it was plain sailing. To be honest the procedure was a bit of a blur and even while watching the fat being aspirated I had no ill feeling. When I got off the bed I did leak a little, but was not grossed out by this.
Fried calamari for lunch.
A friend has decided that he is now going to move back to London from China/Germany/Dubai… don’t ask… although there is an interesting story about growing mushrooms in Dubai, but that is not relevant to this blog…
Went out for dinner with him and his sister to a traditional British restaurant. Apparently there is a scarcity of such restaurants in London, not including gastropubs.
You are probably wondering what does a traditional British restaurant menu consist of???
I think there was an onion soup, artichoke heart and salmon and crab wrap to name a few starters. Mains consisted of lamb, pork, steak and fish pie… there were other dishes… what wine did the traditional British restaurant serve? French and Italian!!!
I need to investigate further into the phenomena that is British restaurant.
In saying all this, the meal was good the French wine was pleasant…
