So I have been given a heads up… Today I received an email informing me that I actually made the cut… For what you may ask? Easy living magazine December issue. I believe this will be the fastest/biggest selling issue of all time. I suppose I won the male equivalent of Colleen’s real women, a show I’m a fan of for no other reason than the way she says “you’z”.
I have to say that the photo is rather becoming! Although in hindsight perhaps I should have worn a different pair of boxers! BTW if you remember the very beginning of my blog I mentioned about going to Karaoke before the procedure… The small photo is from that night.
I guess this gives me a quick opportunity to pass on a bit more of my VASER understanding to all of you…
There are now a couple of variations to the VASER procedure, the main difference being the down time. Whereas my recovery was rather speedy and I was back at work the next day and only had to endure the compression garment for 14 days, the Hi-Def procedure has a longer downtime and a 30 day garment time. You will also find there to be more leakage with the Hi-Def procedure and might consider taking a few days off work after the procedure. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I have been asked on occasion to post the video of me having the procedure, but have opted out as some people find it too graphic.
I have met a few people who have read this blog, and I’m glad they found it useful. Some used it as a reference tool for what to expect afterwards, others for decision-making, some because they actually enjoyed reading it! If you are about to embark on the marathon read of my blog from the beginning, please bare in mind that you might find certain parts amusing, but also bear in mind that everybody is different and that I have no medical qualification, I was just simply making a journal of my experience.
Thanks for reading,
Rudi
Way to go! I completely understand the burger after, I would do the same. And then conclude the day with a beer.
Congratulation for Easy Living, that tummy is worth being displayed.
