Remembering the compression garment

May 13th, 2009

Have I mentioned this before?
Who knows?
I think that boxing is the best over all workout…
My left hook has come on leaps and bounds, shame about the rest of my strikes…

I have now watched the Tyson documentary in preparation for my next training session, where I will release my inner beast.  Silvia (PT)watch out!!!!

I am slowly getting back in to fried food, which is a slippery slope, but one I’m enjoying sliding down!

I was chatting to a lady this afternoon that also had VASER Lipo. She was telling me about her experiences and I was telling her about mine. It was a rather amusing conversation, especially when we both recounted the first time first time we took off our compression garment. I talk about it in my fifth blog, which was many many weeks ago. Just in case you can’t be bothered to scroll back to page 5 or click the read from beginning button and scroll forward to ‘the day after VASER’ I will give you a quick recap…

Because my body was used to the compression from the garment, when I took the garment off all the blood rushed everywhere causing me to come over all-woozy. Her story was rather amusing, but I suppose if you haven’t experienced it then you may not find it amusing. Therefore I will not give you the opportunity to tell me that the story was not amusing…
All you need to know is that we laughed and a lot!!!

Dinner…
Went out with a colleague to a restaurant that I hadn’t been to before. She was great company… REALLY!!!! And for a vegetarian she was rather adventurous with her choice of foods. If you are a squeamish vegetarian stop reading now…

Because she decided to let her hair down a little, for a starter she opted for roasted potatoes with rosemary, garlic, and pancetta… Yes I said pancetta… Just to clarify, pancetta is not a Scottish cheese, rather, it’s a type of dried cured PORK belly… We sent the dish back citing the Scottish cheese defense. The waiter seemed a little suspicious, but then buckled when I pressed him as to whether he had been to ‘Prego Pasta house’ in Inverness… He hadn’t!
Didn’t drink any alcohol at dinner, not for the lack of trying, the wine list was just not up to my colleagues high standards…
