The Vaser consultation..I drink to prepare

March 22nd, 2009

Yesterday I had a proper consultation with Grant where we run through everything, the only thing I actually take away from the consultation is that I won’t be drinking any alcohol for a minimum of two weeks after the procedure. The good news is that it is a friends 30th birthday tonight and now I have even more of an excuse for excessive drinking. We are going to a Japanese for karaoke. On the way to the party I begin discussing VASER with my friends. As always the first question is does it actually work… I couldn’t answer for certain as I had never seen any first hand results, only case studies that had been supplied to me. I had done research and spoke with the doctor on more than one occasion and even spoken to Simon Davies the head of VASER UK, so I was pretty clued up, although most of my friends will tell you I’m clueless, in the nicest possible way of course. By the end of the discussion with friends the females told me I was fine the way I was, which is kind of flattering. The guys on the other hand told me do it, not sure if that was flattering, although they did say it was worth doing if it works… As a farewell to my much looked after gut we took a few parting photos with my not so desirable abdomen that evening. To protect the innocent involved I am not going to post those photos, but might consider it down the line…
