What was your main concern when considering the FemiLift?
My concern was stress incontinence, my GP prescribed medication in tablet form for this, of which I decided wasn’t the path I wanted to take so I was delighted when I heard there was another solution to my problem.
How comfortable did you find the treatment?
Very comfortable, the Doctor is amazing and really put me at ease. Sometimes I felt a dull achy feeling, however, it is definitely bearable. I found the treatment much more comfortable than having a smear test.
How many treatments did you have?
I have had two treatments so far and expect to only have one more as I am noticing an improvement already.
When did you start seeing results?
I have just started to notice results after having my second treatment.
Was there any downtime?
You need to abstain from sexual intercourse for 5 days following the treatment.
Did you notice any other side effects?
Absolutely no discomfort at all after the treatment, however I advise having panty liners for few days after as there can be some fluid that sometimes leaks, it has not caused any major issues and is a small price to pay for the results I am already noticing.
What improvements have you noticed?
I don’t have the worrying sense of urgency to go to the toilet as much, I feel much more in control, this treatment has changed my life for the better. I am amazed how easy and comfortable the whole process has been.
