Hypnotherapy for Anxiety

What happens during a hypnotherapy session?

  1. Discuss your goals

    Your therapist will discuss with you your goals and aims, together with any background issues. This is to help you to define and refine your goals, as well as to ascertain the techniques most suitable for you.

  2. Your session

    Using these techniques, you will be taken into a calm, relaxed state of hypnosis, where suggestions in line with your goals will be given. Your conscious and unconscious minds work in harmony in this state and can assist you in providing solutions.

  3. End of session

    At the end of the session, you will be brought back into full waking awareness, and a discussion of your experience during that calm state can take place.

  4. Follow up sessions

    We recommend you budget for three sessions for most issues, but plans can be discussed with your therapist. In subsequent sessions, your progress will be measured, and you will be taken into another hypnotic state to continue the work and build upon what you have achieved.

I found the hypnotherapy session with Victoria to be extremely inspiring. Victoria has a very soothing voice that easily put me into a relaxed state. I also felt more at peace, perhaps this was due to Victoria as her energy is very special. The Hypnotherapy session was to help me with an addictive behaviour which I sometimes struggle to control. How much does a Hypnotherapy cost?

Prices start at £175, including the initial discussion with your therapist, followed by being taken into a hypnotic state.

Prices of your overall treatment may vary, depending upon your goals and what is suitable for you to achieve them.

Is there long term results from Hypnotherapy?

Results depend upon the client, not the practitioner, but certainly, change can be rapid and beneficial, and there is no reason for outcomes not to be lasting. 

Can Hypnotherapy work without being Hypnotised?

Hypnosis is a natural state; we are in a light hypnotic condition many times during each day, e.g. daydreaming, becoming engrossed in a film, or lost in a book, etc.

Most people, if they allow it, can be hypnotised. Your therapist can select varying techniques to achieve this for you.

Rest assured that no suggestions will be offered to you during your hypnosis that goes against your wishes. Your mind would either reject them, or you would wake up.

Is Hypnosis legal in the UK?

In the UK, Hypnotherapists do not require certification. Hypnotherapy is usually unavailable with the NHS; when you find someone private, ensure they have a healthcare background and are registered with the professional standards authority.
