Easter is a popular time to head abroad for some spring time sun before summer comes, and we know that when it comes to packing your skincare for your holidays it’s hard to know which items you should take. There’s never enough space to pack your full skincare kit, so these are our fail-safe and must-have
Easter skin care products to take with you if you’re going away this month.
SPF
We’ll start with the most obvious one first, SPF. It doesn’t matter whether you’re off on a city break, or if you’re going to a hot beach somewhere. SPF is always a must-have. If you’re on a city break, and you know the temperature isn’t going to be too hot then our go to sun screen has got to be DermaQuest Sheer Zinc SPF 30. This lightweight formula will protect your skin from UV damage whilst providing a natural tint. If you’re heading off on a beach holiday, and your skin is going to be exposed to high UV rays then why not try DermaQuest SunArmour SPF 50, it provides great protection and intense hydration. Another point to mention is that you should be re-applying your SPF throughout the day. If you’re in and out of the pool, or sweating in the heat your sun cream will begin to come off, to ensure you’re protected all day long, we advise re-applying every couple of hours.
Cleanser
Removing your sun cream at the end of the day is just as important as applying it, which is why it’s imperative you take a great cleanser away with you on holiday. Sun screen can sit heavily on the skin if it is not removed probably, meaning it can clog your pores and cause blemishes. To ensure you’re taking off your sunscreen properly then we recommend double cleansing with CosMedix Purity Clean, this exfoliating cleanser removes impurities on the skin and decongests clogged pores.
Hands
This next product is one that we recommend all year round, but especially when you’ve been on holiday sunbathing and exposed to more sun than usual. We love the Biologique Recherche Emulsion Mains PIGM 400, it helps to protect your skin from external aggressions, and reduces the appearance of pigmentation spots.
Eyes
Holidays are all about over-indulging, staying up late, dancing and drinking under the stars. And whilst this is all good fun, it really takes its toll on our skin, especially the delicate area around our eyes.
