Five specialist pathways
All procedures by Dr Charakida under local anaesthetic, the same day.
Mole Removal
Surgical excision or shave biopsy with aesthetic closure and histology option. Method chosen to minimise the final scar, not just to remove the lesion.
Skin Tags
Cautery or surgical removal of neck, underarm, eyelid or body tags. Multiple tags treated in one session for a single fee.
Cysts & Lipomas
Epidermoid, pilar and sebaceous cysts and lipomas excised under local anaesthetic with full capsule removal to reduce recurrence.
Warts & Verrucas
Medical-grade cryotherapy or cautery, stronger and more precise than over-the-counter treatments. Most resolve in 1–3 sessions.
Keloid Scars
Intralesional steroid injections, advanced laser protocols and combination treatments tailored to flatten, fade and remodel raised scar tissue.
Scar Revision
Comprehensive scar assessment for post-acne, surgical and traumatic scars. A bespoke combination protocol designed by Dr Charakida.
Walk in. Walk out. No hospital stay.
Specialist Consultation
Dr Charakida personally assesses your concern, confirms a removal plan and advises on the method that minimises scarring. £250 consultation, deducted from treatment.
The Procedure
Under local anaesthetic for a pain-free experience, the lesion is precisely removed using surgical excision, cryotherapy or cautery, chosen for your skin and lesion type. 30–60 minutes.
Aesthetic Aftercare
A bespoke healing plan, wound care advice and follow-up. We don't just remove the issue and send you home, we ensure your skin heals beautifully.
Clear skin shouldn't be complicated.

St John's Wood NW8Common questions
Does lesion removal hurt?
A local anaesthetic is given before all surgical procedures, making the removal itself entirely pain-free.
Will I be left with a scar?
All excisions leave some trace, but Dr Charakida's aesthetic-first approach is specifically focused on minimising this through choice of technique, suture method and aftercare.
Can multiple lesions be removed in one session?
Yes. Multiple skin tags, warts or small lesions can often be treated in a single appointment.
What is the recovery time?
Skin tag and wart removals typically require no downtime. Surgical excisions require the wound kept dry for a few days. Most clients return to work the same day.
Who will perform my procedure?
All dermatosurgery is performed by Dr Katerina Charakida, Senior Dermatologist, GMC registered (6030845) and Imperial College London trained.
