Does it hurt?
You will feel warmth and a tingling sensation as the ultrasound focal points deliver energy, but Ultraformer III is significantly more comfortable than older HIFU machines thanks to its 3rd-generation elliptical transducers. Most clients find it very manageable and no anaesthetic is required.
How much does a course cost?
Pricing depends on the areas treated and the number of sessions in your personalised plan. Single-area courses typically start from a few hundred pounds per session, with full face and neck courses priced higher. Your Treatment Coordinator will confirm exact pricing at your complimentary consultation, and new clients receive 35% off their first course this month.
When will I see results and how long do they last?
Some clients notice an immediate "flash" lift on the same day. The real result peaks at around 12 weeks as your body continues building new collagen fibres beneath the skin. Results typically last 12 to 18 months, after which most clients book a top-up session to maintain their lift.
How many sessions do I need?
Many clients see significant results in just 1 to 2 sessions for face and jawline work. For maximum body tightening, we recommend a course of 2 to 4 treatments. Your Treatment Coordinator will personalise a plan during your complimentary consultation based on your age, skin laxity, and desired outcome.
Who is Ultraformer III not suitable for?
Ultraformer III is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active skin infections in the treatment area, severe or cystic acne on the face, metal implants in the target area, a pacemaker, or certain autoimmune conditions. We will take a full medical history at consultation and only proceed if it is safe and appropriate for you.
How does it compare to Morpheus8 or RF microneedling?
Morpheus8 and RF microneedling use radiofrequency energy delivered through fine needles, working primarily in the dermis. Ultraformer III uses focused ultrasound to reach deeper, including the SMAS layer that a surgeon would lift, without breaking the skin. For true lifting of sagging tissue, HIFU typically outperforms RF. For surface texture and acne scarring, RF microneedling can be a better fit. Many of our clients combine both across a treatment plan.
Are there side effects or risks?
Ultraformer III has an excellent safety profile when delivered by a trained practitioner. Mild redness, slight swelling, or temporary tenderness in the treatment area are possible and usually settle within 24 hours. Rare side effects include temporary numbness or bruising. We review all risks with you in writing at consultation.
